Scientists awarded Nobel Prize for learning how cells use oxygen

Three scientists have won the 2019 Nobel Prize for Physiology or Medicine for discovering how cells sense and adapt to oxygen availability, research which the award committee said “greatly expanded our knowledge of how physiological response makes life possible”.
